TORSO and SIDE B Preorder

Torso

A new comic! I finished this comic long ago, last year. It's done with the ambition to build up a resume of comic work with writer Kat Vapid, so we can eventually publish a proper graphic novel some day. you can read "Torso" in this summer's Side B Anthology and it's written by Kat Vapid, drawn by me, and lettered by Barb Guttman.

I'm going to have to ask you very earnestly to PREORDER this book. Preorders really help this type of project. Preorder now in April. Preorder with a pair of sox . Preorder with a fox. Preorder on a train with a goat. PREORDER!

I can see that a lot of passion went into this project from all the creators and it seems like this book (Side A) prefaces the wave of music comic anthologies out there.
You can find all the info for the book and a list of creators as well as a downloadable order form for the book at www.poseurink.com/sideb/

SIDE B A MUSIC LOVER'S COMIC ANTHOLOGY
Music touches our lives every day. It is an influential and defining part of all generations and cultures. We have compiled an anthology full of stories about the influence that music can have on life - be it the life of the artist as and individual or on the creative process.

Over 200 pages of lost lovers, rocking out, spirit guides, ghosts, and dinosaurs - it's like an action adventure comic for the music lover in all of us. (Edited by Rachel Dukes, published by Poseur Ink.)

In April 2007, we published Side A: The Music Lover's Graphic Novel that included such great artists as: Liz Greenfield, Ben Snakepit, Lars Brown, and Corey Marie Parkhill. (Featured in The Comics Journal, Razorcake, and Alternative Press Magazine.) We've tried our hand at making this installment even better!

DMZ #42

You've seen them countless times in the pages of DMZ. Violent killers – anonymous and silent – behind gas masks and heavy clothing. Always the vanguard of death and destruction. But who are they and where do they come from? What would cause a man or woman, even in a warzone, to completely surrender themselves to oblivion? "No Future" is a 3-part story probing an infamous DMZ death cult housed in the city's tallest building.

Hey Good Lookin'

The Replacements
Sept 5th '81 at 7th St. Entry Minneapolis,MN
Hey Good Lookin' (Hank Williams)

Wait for the end when Paul says, "Thanks, Husker Du is next...". So how much would've you liked to be at THIS show?

I mean...1981. Tommy Stinson is like, 14 years old here. All the video from this show should be in the Smithsonian. I mean, look at it. Just look at Bob Stinson kill on guitar on "Kids Don't Follow".

This whole set is TIGHT. I can't decide if The Replacements were THIS fantastic that night because they were incredibly sober or incredibly wasted.

Sorry, I have to put up another Cover Song because I'm absolutely buried with work right now.
