I'm At TCAF: Toronto Comic Arts Festival

Morpheus

Daniel

Here's some Sandman commissions. I've been completely burnt out on commissions lately. And, sadly, I'm going to have to place an immediate moratorium on them. I'm just too busy with the "real" work and the commissions have just been taking over my life. I value every commission request I get--I love doing them--But I need to stop them for about 7 months so I can get my work done. I'm working on three comic projects at the moment and they need %110 of my immediate attention. I'm going to spend a week finishing up a few commissions that have been promised , but after that, I hope everyone else waiting for commissions can be merciful and wait until around November when I can start them up again.
Sorry!

The best way to get sketches and commissions from me is at conventions, where I'm trapped and I can't say no. This weekend, I'll be at TCAF, The Toronto Comic Arts Festival.

Saturday May 8th, 9am-5pm
Sunday May 9th, 11am-5pm

@ Toronto Reference Library
789 Yonge St., Toronto, Canada
416-533-9168
Admission to TCAF is Free.

I'll be at Table 140 doing sketches and selling books, artwork and prints. Please come by and say hi!

I'll also be participating in a panel discussion. Here are the details:

Assemblyline Comics: The Pros and Cons of Contemporary Comics Creation in the Mainstream
Saturday, May 8th, 11:00 – 12:00pm, The Pilot

Writing, penciling, inking, coloring, lettering -- mainstream comics creation is frequently compared to a factory assembly line. But is there room for creativity, innovation, and excellence within that structure? This panel is a discussion of just that. Featuring writers J. Torres and Cecil Castellucci, Penciler/Inkers Cameron Stewart and Ryan Kelly, Colourist Jose Villarrubia, and Letterer Zack Giallongo. Moderated by Mark Askwith, SPACE.
