Now, Now

Colored Pencil on Paper.

A new one for my "Microphone" series of music illustrations. The whole point is these are supposed to be "quick" exercises in different media. I really hate the idea that an artist ("illustrator") has to have a "style" to "make it" in the professional world, even if it's true.  I don't think I've drawn with colored pencils since highschool!

I'm afraid all the musicians I draw are old fogies, so I've decided to draw the Minnesota band Now, Now which I've been listening lately.
